Meet The Founder

Ocean Lilly Otte  is a Boston native with deep roots in the city’s creative and entrepreneurial community. She has spent years curating experiences that merge fashion, wellness, and connection. With extensive experience managing small businesses and working as a consultant for upscale boutiques, she dedicated much of her career to helping others bring their visions to life.

Motivated to forge her own path, she launched her first French-inspired pop up boutique in the heart of Beacon Hill - it was a warm, sophisticated space known for personalized styling, timeless yet attainable pieces, and a focus on community. Her vision has always been rooted in inclusivity, spotlighting emerging brands, local designers, and artists who share her belief that fashion should be both expressive and accessible.

Today, Ocean has taken the next step in her journey: closing her beloved pop-up and opening Élevée’s flagship boutique in Boston’s vibrant South End. The new space reflects the evolution of her brand. It is larger, brighter, and designed to be a true destination for both shopping and gathering. With high ceilings, curated displays, and a dedicated event space for wellness classes, workshops, and community experiences, Élevée embodies the elegant yet welcoming spirit that defines Ocean’s approach to modern retail.

Driven by her passion for health and wellness, she also introduced her own apothecary line in 2025. It is meticulously crafted from organic ingredients and proudly manufactured in the United States.

“I have the privilege of doing what I love every day - catering to those who seek a more enriching shopping experience. I long for the days when retail employees were recognized for their expertise and were there to help you feel your best, whether it was for a special event or curating a wardrobe that truly reflects your personality. My goal is for customers to leave my shop in a better mood than when they arrived. I take pride in building relationships and believe that transparency is far more important than making a quick profit.”
